A deeper dive...
So I did spend sometime on this one, I did really enjoy it and will certainly endeavour to do one every year, and maybe some other similar content as we go. However a few people I discussed this with couldn't understand the dislike I have of figures like the Hot Tub Stormtrooper. I would simply answer with "I am not a Lego Fan", What I mean by this is that I am a Star Wars fan, so the little easter eggs that appear in Lego games don't really appeal to me very much, nor do characters dressed up seasonally for Halloween or Christmas. So this obviously includes Ginger Bread Darth Vader and advent calendar figures. I like Star Wars Lore/Legends and when things are accurate, or as close to, while still maintaining the Lego interpretation of the theme.
Now of course I'm glad they are making these figures for people that want them, I am simply saying they're not for me.

The Value I See...
I think the value of a Lego minifigure is a very personal thing. I see high value in detailed accurate minifigures but not only this, minifigures that I can create works with. I love the detail so printed arms are a must (when necessary of course) also figures that show up in scenes together appeal greatly to me (Ahsoka and Anakin in the 2025 Jedi Interceptor). The busier I can make a scene the better. Price obviously plays a part in this however I don't let it affect the list too much as I enjoy the chase to a degree, it wouldn't be as fun if someone just gave you all the figures you desired...

I understand that these things are quite unique to someone like me that likes to create fan art with their figures. So that is essentially why my list looks the way it does, anyway I stand by it, and I hope you enjoyed.
