Most Exciting Set Rumours...

We have had a plethora of new Lego Star Wars rumours lately. In this article I will go over my hopes and what has me most excited this year. There are lots of sets to mention, so here we go.

The 327th Star Corps...
It looks like this year will be a big year for the 327th Star Corps. Not only will a large battle pack be releasing, but we will see our first CIS (Confederacy Of Independent Systems) MTT (Multi-Troop Transport) set. Now for me the Clone Troopers themselves have come along a little too late. I am excited about the rumoured Aayla Secura figure however I have my dream squad of 327th Star Corps led by Commander Bly. What I am very interested in is the MTT itself. We very rarely see some true Separatist opposition to the Clone Troopers in Lego, so this for me is really exciting. Although it is said to have a lower than preferred piece count it is no secret that Lego builds and techniques today are more advanced than ever so I am still hopeful that this will be a great vehicle.

The UT-AT...
Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport or UT-AT has yet to be represented in Lego form, long awaited by the fans and finally rumoured for this year. However much like my issues with the 327th Star Corps, I have a dream squad of Galactic Marines lead by Commander Bacara. So again this set is more about the build for me, but without wishing to sound like a broken record, like the MTT the piece count is less than most fans expect. Causing concerns that the build will be far smaller than many had hoped. These two sets share a lot of similarities from my point of view. Only time and leaked images will tell. At least there will be an opportunity for some of the cost to be recovered by reselling the minifigures...

Night Trooper Battle Pack...
To round off this little list a classic Lego Star Wars Battle Pack. It is rumoured that we will receive a Night Trooper Battle Pack. Now unlike the previous two sets discussed, I am very much interested in these figures, we saw one Night Trooper release last year in the Duel On Peridea Set so it will definitely be great to get a few more. Further more we will see our first Night Death Trooper, seen in the finale of the Ahsoka Series. The ratio is said to be two to two, would perhaps have been better if it was one Death Trooper to three Stormtroopers however what's important is that we are getting the figures. I am sure Lego will execute them well.
